Mortuary Coldrooms

The Coldstream range of mortuary coldrooms utilise the same construction as the ‘Rapide’ range of coldrooms. Offering a cost efficient and time saving alternative to the more traditional mortuary rooms offered today.

Manufactured using 75mm polyurethane foam injected panels, Coldstream mortuary rooms are suitable for temperatures ranging from +5’c down to –18’c. For temperatures exceeding these, 100mm thick insulation will be used.

Coldstream mortuary rooms are available in two standard heights. 2150mm high for three tier applications and 2550mm high for 4 tier applications. We are however able to tailor the height to suit your particular needs.

The standard depth of all our mortuary rooms is 2400mm deep with the length depending on the number of bays / doors required (click here).

All our mortuary coldrooms are supplied with the same high standard doors as our coldrooms. These are available in two different sizes. 610mm clear opening for normal bodies or 790mm clear opening for obese bodies. All Coldstream mortuary doors are supplied with a lockable door handle complete with internal safety release, stainless steel kick plate and body id card holders.

Our standard floor finish is our easy clean grey non-slip PVC laminated galvanised steel. We can however offer a plain ply finish (for finish by yourselves) or stainless steel.

The Coldstream range of mortuary coldrooms can be supplied with either a white foodsafe PVC laminate finish or a T304 DP1 stainless steel finish to all walls and internal ceiling.

Coldstream mortuary rooms can be supplied in dual compartment, triple compartment and pass thru configurations.

Coldstream are also able to supply a wide range of mortuary racking, trays and refrigeration to suit almost every application.
