Coldroom Panels

Coldstream insulated panels are produced in 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm thick polyurethane insulation using the latest computer controlled technology.

Standard panel width is 1200mm wide with a maximum length of 9000mm long.

50mm Panels are supplied without locks, these are instead supplied with a push together edge profile, which is locked together using a ply spline (supplied by Coldstream).

All other Coldstream insulated panels are supplied with a tongue and grooved edge profile, complete with cam-operated locks at 800mm centres. These panels can however, be supplied without locks if necessary.

Coldstream insulated panels can be supplied with either a flat finish or a shallow ribbed profile finish.

Coldstream insulated panels can be supplied with a variety of surface finishes with white food safe PVC laminated galvanised steel being the standard. Plain galvanised steel, T304 DP1 stainless steel, ply wood and coloured PVC coated steels are available upon request.

Panels for our modular coldroom ranges are of various widths, to build coldrooms in 100mm length & width modules.

Overall average panel foam density of 40kg/m3 gives the following ‘U’ values:

75mm panel 0.306 watts / m2 Kelvin
100mm panle 0.230 watts / m2 Kelvin
125mm panel 0.184 watts / m2 Kelvin

The polyurethane foam contains a fire retardent to BS3837 to restrict the extent of burning when tested to BS4735 : 1974.

All coated surfaces comply with BS476 Part 7 class 1 surface spread of flames.

Ceiling panels conform to BS6399 Part 1 for walk on ceilings.
